Answer:

a,b,c are sides of the triangle

a=18cm

b=?

c=10cm

we can use heron's formula

area=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

s=42/2=21

then b = 42-18-10

b=14cm

substitute this value in the formula

√21(21-18)(21-14)(21-10)

√21(3)(7)(11)

√4851=21√11

the area of the triangle is 21√11cm^2
