perimeter of ∆ = sum of all sides
32 = 8 + 11 + x
32 = 19 + x
32 - 19 = x
x = 13

Hi ,

Let a, b and c are Three sides of the

Triangle ,

a = 8 cm , b = 11 cm

Perimeter = 32 cm

a + b + c = 32

8 + 11 + c = 32

c = 32 - 19

c = 13

s = P / 2 = 36 /2 = 18

s - a = 18 - 8 = 1

s - b = 18 - 11 = 7

s - c = 18 - 13 = 5

Area of the triangle

= √ s( s - a ) ( s - b ) ( s - c )

= √ 18 × 10 × 7 × 5

= √ 9 × 2 × 2 × 5 × 7 × 5

= 30√7 cm

I hope this helps you.

:)
