find the area of a triangle when two sides are 24 cm 10 cm and perimeter of triangle is 62 centimetre​

Answer:

Let the length of the other side of the triangle is x cm.

Perimeter of triangle=a+b+c

62=24+10+x

x+34=62

x=28cm

so the other side is 28 cm.

By Heron's Formula,

a=24, b=10, c=28

s=(a+b+c)/2

s=(24+10+28)/2

s=31

area of triangle=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

=√31(31-24)(31-10)(31-28)

=√31×7×21×3

=21√31cm²
