In context to questions asked,

We have to determine the value of area of triangle.

As per questions,

Base of triangle = 9 cm

Height of triangle = 8 cm

As we know that,

Area of triangle can be determined by using formula,

area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h

So, for determining the value of area of triangle we will put the value given in the questions.

Thus we will get,

area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 9 \times 8  \\  =  > 36 \:  {cm}^{2}

Hence area of triangle will be 36 sq. cm

To find  : area of triangle

Given : base is 9\ cm and height is 8\ cm

Solution :

  • According to given data we know that base and height of triangle  is 9\ cm and  8\ cm   respectively .
  • Area of triangle is given by  ,
  • Area of triangle = \frac{1}{2} \times base \times height

                                  = \frac{1}{2}\times 9 \times 8 \\=  9\times 4 \\=36\ cm^{2}

Hence , area of triangle is 36 \ cm ^{2} .
