Step-by-step explanation:
Given:-
Base of the triangle and height of the triangle are 2 m and 60cm respectively.
To find:-
Find the area of a triangle whose base is 2m and height is 60cm
Solution:-
Base of the triangle (b)=2m
we know that 1 m=100 cm
base=2m=200cm
height of the triangle (h)=60cm
If the base and height of a triangle are "b" and "h" units then area of the triangle is bh/2 sq.units.
=>Area of the triangle =200×60/2
=>A=100×60
=>A=6000 sq.cm
we know that 1m²=10000 cm²
=>A=6000/10000
=>A=0.6 m²
Answer:-
Area of the triangle is 6000 cm² or 0.6 m²
