Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Base of the triangle and height of the triangle are 2 m and 60cm respectively.

To find:-

Find the area of a triangle whose base is 2m and height is 60cm

Solution:-

Base of the triangle (b)=2m

we know that 1 m=100 cm

base=2m=200cm

height of the triangle (h)=60cm

If the base and height of a triangle are "b" and "h" units then area of the triangle is bh/2 sq.units.

=>Area of the triangle =200×60/2

=>A=100×60

=>A=6000 sq.cm

we know that 1m²=10000 cm²

=>A=6000/10000

=>A=0.6

Answer:-

Area of the triangle is 6000 cm² or 0.6

Correct Question-:

  • Find the area of a triangle whose base is 2 m and height is 60cm .

AnswEr -:

  • \boxed{\purple{\sf{Area \: of \:triangle \:= 6000cm²\:or\:0.6m² }}}

Explanation,

Given -:

  • The base of triangle ️ is 2 m
  • The height of triangle ️ is 60 cm .

Figure related to the question-:

\setlength{\unitlength}{1 cm}\begin{picture}(0,0)\thicklines\qbezier(1, 0)(1,0)(3,3)\qbezier(5,0)(5,0)(3,3)\qbezier(5,0)(1,0)(1,0)\put(2.85,3.2){$\bf A$}\put(0.5,-0.3){$\bf C$}\put(5.2,-0.3){$\bf B$}\end{picture}

To Find -:

  • The area of Triangle ️.

Solution-:

  • \boxed{\purple{\sf{Area \: of \:triangle \:= \frac {1}{2} \times base  \times height }}}

Here ,

  • The base of triangle ️ is 2 m or 200 cm [ Converted into cm ]
  • The height of triangle ️ is 60 cm .

Now ,

\implies {\pink{\sf{ \frac {1}{2} \times 200  \times 60 }}}

\implies {\pink{\sf{  100  \times 60 }}}

\implies {\pink{\sf{  6000 cm²}}}

As , We know that ,

  • [1m² = 10000 cm ²]

Now ,

\implies {\pink{\sf{  \frac {6000}{10000} \: = 0.6m² }}}

Therefore,

  • \implies {\pink{\sf{  Area \:of\: Triangle \: =\: 6000 cm²\:or\:0.6m²}}}

Hence ,

  • \boxed{\purple{\sf{Area \: of \:triangle \:= 6000cm²\: or\: 0.6 m² }}}
