The sides are 10cm, 8cm, 6cm

s =  \frac{10 + 8 + 6}{2}  =   \cancel\frac{24}{2}  = 12

The area is given as

 \sqrt{s (s- a)(s - b)(s - c)}

 \sqrt{12(12 - 10)(12 - 8)(12 - 6)}

 \sqrt{12 \times 2 \times4 \times 6 }

 \sqrt{576}  = 24 \: cm {}^{2}
