Thats wrong... You've to use Heron's formula that is area = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
And s= (a+b+c)/2

S= a+b+c/2 = 17+10+9/2
= 36/2 = 18
Area = √18(18-17)(18-10)(18-9)
= √18*1*8*9
