s= 34cm+20cm+42cm/2
= 96cm/2
= 48cm
then , according to Heron formula
area of triangle= √(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
= √48(48-34)(48-20)(48-42)
=√48×14×28×6
=336cm^2
now by using formula
Area = b×h/2
336cm^2=20cm×h/2
336cm^2= 10cm×h
h= 336cm^2/10cm
h= 33.6cm
