4x+5y=20……..(3)

by solving eqn. (1)&(2). x=3, y=0. or. A(3,0)

by solving eqn. (2) &(3) y=0 , x=5. or. B(5,0)

by solving eqn. (3) &(1) x=3 , y=8/5. Or. C(3,8/5)

Area of the triangle ABC=1/2.[x1(y2-y3)+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)]

=1/2.[3(0–8/5)+5(8/5–0)+3(0–0)]

=1/2.[-24/5+8]

=1/2.(16/5)

=8/5 = 1.6 sq.unit. Answer
