HEY !!! HERE IS YOUR ANSWER 》》
for the area :

S = (a+b+c) / 2 = (18+24+30) / 2 = 72 / 2 = 36

area + under root S (S-a) (S-b) (S-c) = 36 (36-18) (36-24) (36-30)

= under root 36 * 18 *12 *6 = under root 6*6*6*3*6*2*2*3 = under root 64 * 32 * 22

when we open the root the number becomes,

62 * 3 *2 = 36 * 6 = 216

then the area of the triangle is 216 cm2

now for finding the altitude :

we know that we have another method of finmding the area of a triangle = 1/2 * base * height

so by putting it

1/2 * 30 * h = 216

15 * h = 216

h = 216/15 = 14.4 cm

altitude = 14.4 cm

HOPE IT HELPS ^_^
