perimete of equilateral triangle = 3× side


12 \sqrt{3}  = 3 \times side
side = 4 \sqrt{3}


area = ( \sqrt{3}  \div 4 )\times side {}^{2}

( \sqrt{3}  \div 4) \times (4 \sqrt{3} ) {}^{2}

 (\sqrt{3}  \div 4 )\times 48

area \:  = 12 \sqrt{3}

the perimeter of equilateral triangle is 3a

3a = 12√3

a = 12√3/3

a= 4√3

area of equilateral triangle is √3/4a²

= √3×4√3×4√3/4
= 4×3×√3
= 12√3 unit ²
