In triangle ABC,

If AB=5√2 cm,BC=AC,angle C=90°

AB^2=BC^2+AC^2

50=2×AC^2

25=AC^2

AC=5cm

In ∆ABC,

area of ∆ABC=1÷2×CB×AC

=1÷2×5×5

=12.5cm^2

Answer:

12.5 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

area of trangle = (1/2)*(base* height)

trangle hypotenuse is 5√2

so other two equal sides will be 5 each.

put the value in formula

=(1/2)*(5*5)

=25/2

=12.5 cm²
