area of such triangle= 1/2× Length×height = 1/2 × 8.4×8.4
4.2×8.4=35.38 cm^2

In given traingle which is isosceles right angled triangle, base and height will be same. i.e. 8.4 cm.

Area of right angled triangle is -

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

Area of triangle = 1/2 × 8.4 × 8.4

Area of triangle = 35.28 sq.m

Hence, area of given triangle is 35.28 sq.m.
