hi friend

area of triangle=1/2*BH

= 1/2 *15*15=225/2=112.5cm2

sami17: Dear, read the question attentively, B is not equal to H
BrainlyHulk: hi
BrainlyHulk: in a isoceles triangle it is
BrainlyHulk: and should be right angled
BrainlyHulk: the hypotenuse is longer side
BrainlyHulk: then other two equal sides are b and h
NehaAdlakha: Srryy.....what r u saying
NehaAdlakha: I know b is not equal to h...but it is an isoceles triangle whose two sides are equal.....right

Given:

According to the question,

Base,

B = 15 cm

Height,

H = 15 cm

To find:

Area of isosceles triangle = ?

Solution:

As we know,

⇒  The area of isosceles triangle = \frac{1}{2}\times Base\times Height

On substituting the values, we get

⇒                                                      = \frac{1}{2}\times 15\times 15

⇒                                                      = \frac{1}{2}\times 225

⇒                                                      = 112.5 \ cm^2

Thus the area will be "112.5 cm²".
