first draw a perpendicular line on the base and by Pythagoras theorem find the height and at last use Area of triangle formula1/2×b×h

first side = second side =10cm
according to herons formula
s= a+b+c/2
=) 12+10+10/2
=)32/2
=)16
area= √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
=)
