Heya:
Here is your answer:
_____________________________________________________________
We can find the area of a isosceles triangle by using Herons Formula
i.e. √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
a = 6, b = 5, c = 5
s = a+b+c/2 = 6+5+5/2 = 8
Putting all the values in the formula
√8(8-6)(8-5)(8-5)
√8*2*3*3
√144
12 cm²
So the area of the triangle is 12 cm²
