perimeter = sum of all sides

= 8.5+8.5+16.5+14.3

= 47.8

area of fig 1 = 1/2×B×H

= 1/2× 8.5×8.5

=36.125 cm²

area of fig 2= 1/2× B× H

= 1/2× 16.5×14.3

=117.975 cm²
