find the area of circular ring if external and internal radii are 20cm and 6cm respectively

R = 20
r = 6

Area of ring = 22/7 × (R+r) × (R-r)
= 22/7 × (20+6) × (20-6)
= 22/7 × 26 × 14
= 22×26×2
= 1144

hi sharad ,

area of ring
= area of outer circle - area of inner circle
= π*(r2^2 - r1^2)
= π ( 400 - 36 )
= π * 364
= 22/7 * 364
= 22 * 52
= 1144 cm square
