Answer:

For rectangle ABCD -

Length = 500m

Breadth = 10m

Area of ABCD = Length × Breadth

= 500m × 10m

= 5000m²

For rectangle PQRS -

Length = 200m

Breadth = 10m

Area of PQRS = Length × Breadth

= 200m × 10m

= 2000m²

Area of square XYZM = Side × Side

= 10m × 10m

= 100m²

Area of cross paths = Area of ABCD + Area of PQRS - Area of square XYZM

= 5000m² + 2000m² - 100m²

= 7000m² - 100m²

= 6900m²
