area of equilateral triangle =√3/4*side^2
=√3/4*100=√3*25
=25√3

Solution:

Length of side of equilateral triangle = 10 cm

Area of equilateral triangle = \frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}a^2

Where a is the side

a=10

So,Area of equilateral triangle =\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}(10)^2

Area of equilateral triangle =43.30 cm^2

Hence The area of equilateral triangle is 43.30 sq.cm.
