FIND the area of minor segment of a circle of radius 28cm, if length of corresponding arc APB is 44cm.

Radius = 28cm
Length of Arc APB = 2πr theta/360
44 = 2×22/7×28×theta/360
Theta =90°
Area of minor segment = πr²theta/360-1/2r²sintheta.
= 22/7×28×28×90/360-1/2×38×28×sin90°. [sin90° = 1]
