Diagonal divides the parallelogram into 2 congruent triangles or we can say two triangles of equal areas.
Area of 1 triangle = 1/2 × b × h
= 1/2 × diagonal × perpendicular
= 1/2 × 8.4 × 8
= 8.4 × 4 = 33.6
Area of parallelogram = 67.2cm ^ 2
