Step-by-step explanation:

First find area of trapezium

Area of Trapezium = a+b÷2×h

= 8+12÷2×2

= 20÷2×2

= 10×2

= 20c

Then find the area of 2 triangles

b= 12÷2 = 6

Area of triangle = 1÷2×b×h

= 1÷2×6×4

= 12 cm²

Therefore Area of 1 triangle = 12 cm²

Therefore area of 2 Triangle = 12×2=24 cm²

Therefore Area of quadrilateral = Area of 2 triangle + Area of trapezium

= 24 +20

=44 cm²

Therefore Total area of Quadrilateral ABCDE is 44cm²
