find the area of quadrilateral,if the length of one of its diagonal is 56 cm and the perpendicular distance from the other two vertices to this diagonal are 30 cm and 42cm

Area of quadrilateral= 1/2 ×diagonal× sum of perpendicular distances

Area = 1/2×56cm×(30+42cm)

2 cut with 56cm then we get 28cm(it is rough don't write it on fair note book)

Area= 28cm×72cm2

Area= 2016cm2
