Answer : 44 cm² ✔️

Solution :

To find :

Area of ABCDE

Given that :

There are a trapezium ACDE and a triangle ABC

As we know that :

Area of Trapezium = (a+b)h/2 and

Area of Triangle = b×h/2

According to the figure :

Area of ABCDE = Area of ACDE + Area of ABC

=> Area of ABCDE = [(8 + 12) × 2]/2 + ( 12 × 4 )/2

=> Area of ABCDE = 20 + 24 = 44 cm²

So, the area of given figure will be 44 cm²

I hope it will be helpful for you ☺️
