✭ Correct Question :

  • Find the area of rectangle whose length is 10 cm and breath 50 cm

✭ Required Solution :

✦ Formula used here :

  • Area = length × Breath

✭ Value given to us :

  • Length (l) = 10 cm

  • Breath (B) = 50 cm

✭ Putting values in formula :

  • A = 10 × 50 cm

  • A = 500 cm²

✰ Area of Rectangle is 500 cm² ✰

✦ According to question :-

  • Cost of fencing = ₹ 20 per metre

  • Now calculating perimeter of rectangle

  • P = 2( l + B)

  • P = 2 ( 50 +10 cm)

  • P = 2 × 60

  • P = 120 cm

∆ Multiplying perimeter by ₹20

  • 120 cm × ₹20 [Given ]

✰ Cost of fencing= ₹ 2400 ✰

Answer:

Area of rectangle = length x breadth

                             = 10 x 50

                  = 500cm²

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length+breadth)

                                      = 2 (50 + 10)

                                      = 120cm

Cost of fencing             = 120 x 20

                        = ₹2400

Hope helps!!!
