Then we using Pythagorean theorem to find the other diagonal.

Given a side = 13cm

one diagonal ( d1) = 24cm

Area of rhombus is = 1/2(d1 × d2)

here d1, d2 are diagonals of a rhombus.

d2 = 2\sqrt{(13)^{2}-(12)^{2}  } \\

d2=2\sqrt{169 - 144} \\ d2= 2\sqrt{25} \\d2 = 2*5\\d2 = 10

Area of rhombus = \frac{1}{2} *24*10

                           =12*10

                            =120cm^{2}
