Find the area of rhombus whose side is 7.5cm and whose altitude is 4cm. If one of its diagonals 8cm long find the length of the other diagonal.

if one of the diagonals is 8 cms then the other should be found by finding the area first by

A=d1 x d2/2

so that must be 40cmSq

and to find the other diagonal

d2=2 x A/d1

= 2 x 40/8

= 2 x 5

= 10 cms
