area of sector=©/360(πr^2)

=30/360(22/7×(6)^2)

=1/12(22/7×36)

=22/7×3

=66/7

=9.42 cm^2

The area of sector of circle of radius = 6cm whose central angle is 30 degree is 9.42 cm sq.units .

- we have given the values of radius and center of angle i.e.

radius (r) = 6cm

and, Angle (θ) = 30 degree

- Formula of area of a sector of circle is calculated using the United method

Area of the sector = θ/360×(π)r²

- As it is given that the

θ = 30 degree and r = 6 cm

- By putting these values in the above formula

= 30/360×π(6)²

- As we know that the value of π is 22/7

So, 30/360×22/7×36

= 1/12×22/7×3

= 9.42 cm sq.units

So, the area of the sector of the circle is 9.42 cm sq.units .
