Radius of a semicircle, r=14cm

Perimeter of a semicircle, P=(π+2)r units

∴ P = $\frac{22}{7}+{2} × 14$

= $\frac{22+14}{7} × 14 = \frac{36}{7}×14=72$

Perimeter of the semicircle = 72 cm.

Area of a semicircle, A= $\frac{πr^2}{2} sq. units$

∴ A = $\frac{22}{7}×\frac{14×14}{2}$ = 308 cm sq.
