Radius of a semicircle, r=14cm

Perimeter of a semicircle, P=(π+2)r units

∴ P = \frac{22}{7}+{2} × 14

= \frac{22+14}{7} × 14 = \frac{36}{7}×14=72

Perimeter of the semicircle = 72 cm.

Area of a semicircle, A= \frac{πr^2}{2} sq. units

∴ A = \frac{22}{7}×\frac{14×14}{2} = 308 cm sq.
