Hey friend

To find area of small square , we need it's side

In figure side of small square is hypotenuse... and other are altitude and base = 5cm

By Pythagoras theorem...

side of small square = √(5² + 5² ) = √50 cm

Area of small square =( √50 ) ² = 50 cm²
