find the area of shaded part of the Fig. given below.

The answer can be given by the sector whose center is A.

\huge\underbrace\mathcal\pink{Solution}

In part ABD,

Radius of the sector (r) = 7cm

Angle on the center (ϑ) = 90°

Area of the shaded part

= Area of the sector

 \frac{ϑ}{360} \pi {r}^{2}  \\  =  \frac{90}{360}  \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7 \\  =  \frac{1}{4}  \times 22 \times 7 \\  \frac{22 \times 7}{4}  \\  =  \frac{11 \times 7}{2} \\  =  \frac{77}{2}  \\  = 38.5 {cm}^{2}
