Answer:

Area of the bigger circle= πr².

radius=14/2=7cm.

area = 22/7×7×7.

Area=154cm².

Area of the shorter circle= πr².

radius =7/2=3.5cm.

area=22/7× 3.5×3.5=38.5 cm².

area of the shaded region= area of the bigger circle - shorter circle

area = 154cm² - 38.5 cm²

area =115.5 cm² is the area of the shaded region.
