                                                              = 22 * 0.5 * 3.5 (As we can cut 7 and 35)

                                                             =38.50 cm²

The area of the circle that have radius of 2.1 will be 22/7 * 21/10 * 21/10

                                                           =22*0.3*2.1 (As we can cut 7 and 21)

                                                            = 13.86 cm²

The area of shaded portion will be = Area of radius  3.5- Area of radius  2.1 cm

                                                          =38.50-13.86

                                                          =24.64 cm²
