area of shaded region = area of big hemi sphere-( 2×area of small hemisphere + area of circle

area of big hemisphere = (pie r^2)/2

= (22×54×54)/14

= 4582.28

2 (area of small hemisphere) = (2pie r^2)/2

= (2×22×27×27)/14

=2291.14

area of circle = pie r^2

= (22×18×18)/7

=1018.28

area of shaded region = 4582.28 - (2291.14+1018.28)

= 4582.28 - 3309.42

= 1272.86

area of shaded region = 1272.86 cm^2
