Find the area of square inscribed in a circle of radius 7 cm

Answer: Square is inscribed in circle so diagonal of square is equal to diameter of circle:

diameter of circle =2×7 =14

diagonal of square = diameter = 14

so area of square = 1/2 × (diagonal)^2

=1/2 × 196

= 98 sq.cm

side of a square , a= 7√2 cm

Area of square = a²

= (7√2)²

= 98 sq units
