Answer:

216 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of 1st rectangle = 10×2 = 20m²

Area of 2 triangles = 2×½×8×2 = 16m²

Area of rectangle in between of triangles = 8×10 = 80m²

Area of square = 10×10 = 100m²

Total area = 216 m²

Answer:

Firstly divide the figure into 3 parts : A rectangle , A trapezium and a square.

Area of a rectangle=l×b

Area of trapezium=1/2h(sum of parallel sides)

Area of a square=s×s

Area of rectangle=10×2=20m^2

Area of trapezium=1/2×8(10+14)=96m^2

Area of square=10×10=100m^2

Therefore,the area of the figure=20+96+100

=216m^2
