Given :-

The given figure is of triangle,

  • Hypotenuse of ΔRAJ = 53 m
  • Base of triangle ΔRAJ = 45 m

To Find :-

  • The area of the ΔRAJ.

Solution :-

In ΔRAJ, m∠RAJ = 90°

Applying Pythagoras theorem,

RJ² = RA² + AJ²

[ Putting values ]

↪ 53² = RA² + 45²

↪ 2809 = RA² + 2025

↪ RA² = 2809 - 2025

↪ RA² = 784

RA = 28 m

[ °.° RA is altitude of ΔRAJ ]

↪Altitude of ΔRAJ = 28 m

Now, we know that,

Area of ΔRAJ = ¹/2 × Base × altitude

[ Putting values ]

↪ Area of ΔRAJ = ¹/2 × 45 × 28

↪ Area of ΔRAJ = 45 × 14

Area of ΔRAJ = 630 m².

Hence,

  • The area of ΔRAJ is 630 m².
