For the area we should subtract the area of the semicircle from the area of the rectangle with l=2.8cm and b=1.5cm On solving we get the area of rectangle =4.2 cm square and the area of the semicircle with radius =2.8/2=1.4cm as 3.08 cm square apprx Now we need to subtract this area from 4.2 cm square and we get the area of the figure as1.12 cm square Hope it is ryt!
