solution ⤵️

area of trapezium=1/2×h(a+b).

given data

height=6 cm

length of two parallel sides are respectively 5 cm and 10 cm

we will find the area of the trapezium

for finding the area we follow this process:-

Area of trapezium =1/2×h(a+b)

Area of the given trapezium=1/2×6(10+5)cm²

Area of the trapezium =3×15=45cm²

Trapezium:-

trapezium is a flat closed shape having 4 straight sides ,with one pair of parallel sides. The parallel sides of a trapezium are known as the bases, and its non-parallel sides are called legs.

Perimeter: sum of lengths of sides of trapezoid

Number of vertices: 4

Number of edges: 4

Properties: Convex polygon

Type: Quadrilateral
