Answer:here first of all

we will join A to E which is equal to 8cm because ABDE isrectangle.

then we have to subtract the area of triangle AFE from rectangle ABDE.

Then the remaining area will be added to Area of semicircle drawn on DB .

First of all join AE

Area of given figure is = area of rectangle ABDE - area of triangle AFE + area of semicircle BCD

= L*B - (AF*AE)/2 + (πr²)/2

= 10*8 - (6*6)/2 + (3.14*4*4)/2

= 80 - 18 + 25.12

= 62 + 25.12

= 87.12

the area of the given figure is 87.12cm²
