Given,

Number of triangle = 4 pairs

Dimensions of a triangle = 17cm,25cm and 26cm

To find,

The area of the flower.

Solution,

Firstly, we have to calculate the area of a single triangle by Heron's formula.

Semiperimeter = (17+25+26)/2 = 68/2 = 34 cm

Area = ✓34×(34-17)×(34-25)×(34-26)

= ✓(34×17×9×8)

= ✓41616

= 204 cm²

Number of triangles = 4 pairs = 4×2 = 8

Total area = (204×8) = 1632 cm²

Hence, the total area is 1632 cm².
