The area of the given polygon AGBCD is 95.75 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. Split the polygon into 3 triangles (i.e.), ΔADC, ΔABC, ΔAGB.
  2. Find the area of all the three triangles with the area of traingle formulae. Area of triangle = 1/2 * base * height.
  3. To find the base AB of the ΔAGB, use pythagorous theorem on ΔABC. As shown in Fig 2.
  4. Then add the areas of the all the 3 triangles.
  5. The sum gives the area of the polygon AGBCD.

I'm sorry I was quite carried over with the alphabets in the polygon and didn't notice the actual polygon before I named it. I humbly apologise for the inconvenience.
