Step-by-step explanation:

Area of trapazium =1/2*hieght*(sum of parallel sides )

=1/2*7*(3.4+8.8)

=1/2*7*12.2

=1/2*85.4

=42.7m

Now 1 meter =3.28 feet

so Area =42.7*3.28=140.056 sqft

Or 140 feet²

Your Answer :-

To find

the area of trapezoid

Given,

Parallel sides = 3.4m and 8.8m

height = 7m

Area of Trapezoid = 1/2 × sum of parallel sides × height.

________________________________

Area = 1/2 × (3.4m + 8.8m) × 7m

=>1/2 × 12.2m × 7m

=> 1/2 × 85.4m²

=> 42.7m²

Therefore Area of the given Trapezoid = 42.7m²

Now convert it in square feet :-

1m = 3.281 ft

so, area = 42.7 × 3.281

=> 140 ft (approx)
