Answer:

68 cm^

but how can we get this answer?

there are three rectangles in this polygon.

we have to label three rectangles as 1st, 2nd and 3rd rectangles.

Area of 1st rectangle = l×b =10×2cm^2=20cm^2

Area of 2nd rectangle= l×b= 18-4 =14×2=28cm^2

Area of 3rd rectangle=l×b=10×2=20cm^2

Total area = 1st area+2nd area+3rd area

=20cm^2+28cm^2+20cm^2

=68cm^2. Ans .........
