as 4.5 cm and 3.5 cm are perpendicular from the opposite vertex to diagonal of 10cm
then I area⬇
$area = 4.5 \times 10 \times \frac{1}{2} \\ = 4.5 \times 5 \\ = 22.5 {cm}^{2}$
and II area⬇
$area = 10 \times 3.5 \times \frac{1}{2} \\ = 17.5 {cm}^{2}$
so total area=(17.5+22.5)=40cm^2
