Step-by-step explanation:

First find the area of the rectangle.

then find the area of the 3 triangles

then add the area of triangle

then simply subtract from the area of rectangle.

hope it helps

First area of square is lbh
= 11•10
=1110 cm ^2

Now ,

There is 3 triangles in given figure

Find the side of that triangles

Triangle 1

Apply Pythagorean theorem
(6)^2+(8)^2=(AC)^2
36+65=AC^2
101= Ac^2
Therefore Ac = 10.5 CM

Then

Second triangle
(5)^2+(4)^2 = (AB)^2
25+16= AB^2
41=AB^2
Therefore AB = 6.4 Cm

Now third triangle
(9)^2+(6)^2 = AD^2
81+36 =AD^2
117 = AD^2
Therefore AD = 10.82 cm

Now find the area of triangles using Heron's Formula

√ p (p-a) (p−b)(p−c)

For triangle 1

where p = (8+6+10.5)/2
=24.5/2
=12 cm

Now area

= √ 12 (12-8)(12-6)(12-10)
= √ 12(4)(6)(2)
= √ 432
=20.78

Now for second triangle

P = 5+4+6/2
=15/2 =7.5

Area

= √7 (7-5)(7-4)(7-6)
= √7 (2)(3)(1)
= √21
=4.58

Now for Third Triangle

P = 9+6+10/2
= 25/2
= 12.5

Area = √ 12(12-9)(12-6)(12-10)
= √ 12(3)(6)(2)
= √ 432
=20.78

Now add 3 triangle’s area and remove it from the square

=(20+4+20)
=44 cm^2

= 1110-44
=1068 cm^2

Don’t forget to give me thanks ;-)
