Step-by-step explanation:

Side of square= 7cm= Diameter of Circle

Radius of Circle=7/2=3.5 cm

Area of square= side*side=7*7=49cm²

Area of Circle= πr²= 22/7*3.5*3.5= 22*1.75=38.5cm²

Area of shaded region= Area of sq.- Area of circle

=49-38.5=1.5 cm²
