Ar. of circle= πr2 => 22/7*7*7 = 154cm2

area of region apart from circle= ar. of square - circle

                                                   => 196-154

                                                   =>42 cm

ar. of each part= 42/4 = 10.5cm

reduce two parts = 21cm left

now,

Find area of sector= 2(90/360*22/7*7*7)

                               => 77cm

now add 77 with the two parts

then subtract it from the area of square

i. e.

21+77=98cm

now,

ar. of square -  left out region

=196-98

=98cm
