Area of whole figure (rect.) = 30×15
=450cm²
length of small rectangle = 30 -8
=22cm
breadth of small rectangle =15-4
=11cm
Area of small rectangle =22 ×11
=242cm²
Area of shaded region =450- 242
=208cm²

length of the rectangle=30cm
breadth of the rectangle=4cm
area of rectangle=30×4=120sq.cm

length of another rectangle=15-4=11cm
breadth of another rectangle=8cm
area of rectangle=11×8=88sq.cm

total area=88+120=208sq.cm
